What is ZipSystem?
Have you ever driven by a home being built in the rain and wondered how the water is being kept out? Well, it's not. Traditional building products wrap the home after the framework is installed. This wrapping process is exposed to the elements during the process and is not as energy-efficient as a system that is applied directly to the board.
ZipSystem is used by discerning builders to prevent moisture from entering the home during the building process. The protective barrier of Zipsystem can't tear or blow off during heavy wind storms as traditional wrap and felt can. This system also seals very tightly to create an excellent air and moisture barrier. This barrier increases energy-efficiencency. Pictured below is a ZipSystem that was recently installed on one of our homes.
