If you’re new to the Hill Country of Texas, you will probably notice that most newly built homes have abandoned the traditional floor plans of the past. You won’t see a many formal dining or front rooms in newly built Austin homes. Open living with dining areas that bleed into the kitchen and are connected to a great room are the most popular plans now. At Masters Touch Custom Homes we spend a lot of time working with our Austin custom home building clients to design a floor plan to suit their needs. We are an award-winning design-build luxury home build team and our years of experience in the luxury home industry has led us to understand what makes an excellent floor plan. Our floor plan designs are done in-house with you, the buyer in mind! It can be overwhelming for some people to think about investing in a concept they can’t walk through and have to visualize on paper. Our clients have told us that we make the process easy and worry-free.
When building a custom home, you can’t trust your floor plan to just anyone! The bones of your home are the most important investment you’ll make for resale and at Masters Touch, we know what plan will resell as well as best suit your needs. Our years of experience in home building have given us great wisdom on how function and flow can create a home that allow you to not only live well but entertain luxuriously. We will often add a storage closet on the upper and lower levels in an area that could easily be converted into an elevator for future use as living needs change.
Efficient use of space and properly locating the home on a lot with sun exposure consideration are all details we discuss as we work closely with our clients to design a home that will fit all of their needs. There are many home design styles that are popular in Austin and the surrounding areas. Old World Tuscan, Contemporary, Hill Country Modern and even Hill Country Rustic homes are all scattered throughout the surrounding areas of Austin.
We use the best materials to survive the weather and conditions of the Hill Country. Stucco and native stone are commonly used for exteriors and we use foam insulation and energy-efficient windows. Stop into our showroom in Lakeway to view our most popular floor plans and we’ll even show you our latest luxury homes being built so you can walk through a home and see it’s “bones.”
