I know, I know selfies have nothing to do with luxury homes, however, if you live in Austin you must know the hippest spots to take your shots! I mean it's pure luxury to be groovin' to the Austin vibe and that would include getting great shots. So grab your selfie stick and let's go!
First stop is the most over-photographed wall in town, the 'I love you' sign at Joe's Coffee House on Congress. While you wait, yes I said wait, for your position in front of the wall, you can order a coffee and sit at the outside bar. You'll get the best people-watching in and wonder why you are waiting in line to take a selfie!
Another must do is the Pennybacker Bridge, (also known as the 360 bridge). If you're a morning person, you'll absolutely want to do this at sunrise because the view is unbelievable and the sunrise well, you know how awesome those can be! Grab your honey and head for Westlake. You won't be sorry!
Your selfie collection is not complete until you've visited Castle Hill's Graffiti Park on Baylor St. This cement art has enough color to take 100 selfies actually. Make it an afternoon excursion with your friends and you'll be an overnight hit on your social media platforms.
The next favorite spot is only available in the month of December, but it's well worth the wait. Zilker Park's Trail of Lights. Step under the lighted archway at the entrance to the trail and start clicking. There will be ample opportunities for selfies at this Christmas tradition!
Last, but certainly not least is your favorite restaurant's patio! Grab your loved ones, huddle together and say...CHEESE, or bacon, or whatever it is that you say here in Austin! It doesn't matter where you are, rather, it's who you're with that counts. Enjoy your fancy backdrops and this beautiful city!
