Giving Thanks...so many times we gather and forget to give thanks for what we love most in life. This Thanksgiving, have your guests fill out a card upon entering your home. Have them share at least one thing they are thankful for and then put it in a basket. Before the meal, pass the basket and have people pick out their cards and read what they are thankful for out loud to the group.

An entryway that is fall focused with a wreath showing thankful hearts will set the tone of your gathering before your guests even step foot into your home.

Have seating cards available with each guest's name on the card and write something about that person that you are thankful for. The person will feel welcome and touched.

Use nature's colorful fruits of the season such as gourds, pumpkins and other colorful fruits to adorn your table and if you need a pop of color, paint some acorns and add them to the mix!
